JV Game Re-Scheduled to Monday at 4PM
The JV Football Game at New Fairfield has been changed to 4PM on Monday.
Also, Aspetuck has home games all day tomorrow at JBHS, so please come down and cheer for our younger players and the organization that is such a big part of providing us with experienced players that helps to keep our high school Program at the level it is now.
Since the Snack Shed will be open all day tomorrow, and the profits help support our Program, we need volunteers to help out as well. Ideally, we would like to get people to volunteer for games when their children aren't playing, so that we can all watch when our players are on the field.
Please contact Liza Shaban at email@example.com to schedule some time to help out.
After a great win last week against Stratford, the Team is right on track for another great season, and we host New Fairfield on Friday night under the lights in our new Stadium!
Unfortunately, due to the open house at JBHS tomorrow night, we will not be able to have a Pasta Dinner for the Team, so please make sure that all of our players receive lots of pasta and/or other carbohydrates and protein for dinner tomorrow night.
Also, this Program requires alot ofVOLUNTEEReffort to support game operations and more specifically, we need freshman and sophomore parents to step up and help with the grill and snack shed before, during and after the Game.
The only way to avoid a significant staff of volunteers is to have a higher contribution/donation amount, which is certainly always welcome, but the snack shed is not only a significant source of income, but also a convenience service to make the Games more enjoyable for everyone.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org and/or email@example.com with times that you can help out with the grill work and/or the snack shed operations.
It is a tradition at Barlow to have Pasta Dinnersfor all of the players (Varsity, JV and Freshmen) and Cheerleaders the evening before all HOME games. The dinners take place in the cafeteria immediately following practice. The Booster Club will sponsor the first dinner this Thursday night, 9/11, before the New Fairfieldgame. Each graduating class will sponsor one of the remaining four dinners. Please see the schedule below. We need one volunteer from each grade to coordinate (collect money, secure helpers for set-up, serving & clean-up, order, etc…) their dinner. Please email me at
to volunteer to be your class’ dinner coordinator. If we do not get a volunteer from your class, we will simply not be able to have a dinner that week.
